Job Description
Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical – Neuro responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care in an acute inpatient rehabilitation environment specializing in neurological and rehabilitation patients. The RN will care for adult and pediatric patients with stroke, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, limb loss, heart failure, and LVAD support while ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.
The role requires strong neuro and rehabilitation nursing experience, critical thinking skills, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The RN must be proficient in phlebotomy, IV placement, rehabilitation nursing practices, bowel/bladder training, and neurological assessments in a fast-paced rehab setting.
