    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to a combination of medical and surgical patients including those with CHF, COPD, UTI, cellulitis, sepsis, amputations, decubitus ulcers, and general surgical cases
    • Administer IV fluid and antibiotic therapies, manage heparin drips, and perform wound care including wound vac management
    • Conduct strong medical and post-surgical patient assessments, including basic telemetry monitoring
    • Manage patients presenting with confusion, behavioral health concerns, and CIWA protocols
    • Float within skillset to alternate campuses as needed, with a minimum of 2 hours notice provided for cross-campus floats
    • Participate in precepting of students and new hires as required in a teaching environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Current active Registered Nurse compact license required
    • Minimum of two years of strong Medical-Surgical nursing experience
    • At least one prior travel nursing assignment
    • Trauma Level II experience required
    • Current AHA BLS certification required
    • Current NIHSS certification required
    • Recent EPIC charting experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with orthopedic medical-surgical patient populations
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, work resiliently in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with a team
    • Comfort with cross-campus floating and mid-shift reassignments
