Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the facility EMR system
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
- Must adhere to facility dress code: royal blue scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
