Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Weekdays and Weekends (3 weekends per 4-week period) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
- Manage a patient assignment of 5–7 patients per shift in accordance with unit staffing ratios
- Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Minimum of 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from within the past 2 years required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working on a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry patients
- Familiarity with travel nursing assignments and associated compliance requirements
