Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Weekdays and Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
- Manage a patient assignment of 5–7 patients per shift in accordance with unit staffing ratios
- Perform accurate and timely clinical documentation using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Adhere to unit attendance expectations, with no more than 2–3 call-offs permitted per contract period
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working on a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
- Minimum of 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from within the past 2 years available at time of submission
