Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 hours/week | Every third weekend required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a general medicine unit during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient conditions, treatments, and responses throughout the shift
- Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and best practices in medical-surgical nursing
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in a medical-surgical or general medicine nursing setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working night shift in an acute care environment
- Familiarity with general medicine patient populations and care protocols
