Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with established standards of practice
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
