Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 36 hours per week | 12-hour shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients throughout a designated shift
- Prescribe and implement nursing care based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care and patient input
- Collaborate with physicians and members of the healthcare team to coordinate delivery of patient care across applicable age groups
- Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care
- Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQI BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS or HS-ACLS or RQI ACLS) certification required at time of hire
- Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia during orientation
- Recent EPIC and Cerner experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
