Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Ortho Trauma Unit)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Ortho Trauma / Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
- Operate and monitor Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital signs machines
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Perform ambulation of patients and wound care as needed
- Collaborate with a team of RNs, LVNs, and PCTs across night shift
- Float to sister units such as Surgical Telemetry or Inpatient Rehab as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Charge nurse experience
- Preceptor experience
