Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:7 patient ratio
- Deliver nursing care across a 40-bed unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient safety and quality outcomes
- Adhere to facility dress code (Royal Blue scrubs) and unit-specific policies
- Participate in floating assignments as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Proficiency with direct patient care in an acute care setting
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience with Cerner EMR
- Experience with block scheduling in a travel nursing capacity
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new unit environments and workflows
