Key Responsibilities
- Provide total patient care for Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients in a 31-bed unit
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7 during day shift hours
- Document patient care and assessments accurately using Cerner EMR
- Float to other Medical Surgical floors as required by unit needs
- Adhere to facility protocols, dress code (royal blue scrubs), and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification (all ALC modules must be completed)
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to provide total patient care
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Cerner EMR
- Previous travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
