Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Days)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 72 Hours Biweekly Guaranteed
Key Responsibilities- Provide total patient care for Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients in a 31-bed unit
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EMR
- Float to other Medical Surgical floors as required to meet unit staffing needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and execute patient care plans
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification with all ACLS modules completed
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Proficiency with total patient care responsibilities
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience with Cerner EMR system
- Experience in a Telemetry or combined Med Surg/Tele environment
- Familiarity with travel nursing assignments and adaptability to new clinical settings
