Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | Onsite | Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within a 23-bed Medical Surgical unit
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of up to 1:6 (1:5 on day shift Monday–Friday)
- Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for Medical Surgical assignments as needed, unless telemetry trained
- Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, with no more than one holiday off requested per contract period
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Ability to work every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills- Telemetry training or experience (reduces float obligation to PCU)
- Prior Medical Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting
