Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Rehabilitation Setting)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0545–1815) | 3×12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical patients within a rehabilitation hospital setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient rehabilitation and recovery goals
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact equivalent
- Experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing setting
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (0545–1815)
- Must wear Royal Blue scrubs as required by facility dress code
- No artificial nails permitted per facility infection control policy
- No Crocs or open-toe footwear permitted per facility safety policy
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a rehabilitation hospital or post-acute care environment
- Strong documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills
