JOB OVERVIEW
Provide, promote, and maintain quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting through adherence to clinical standards, professional development, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered care, supports diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ensures a safe and effective care environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiate and document a comprehensive plan of care within established timeframes
Perform patient interventions proficiently and demonstrate age-specific competency
Provide appropriate treatment in emergency situations
Verify accuracy of physician orders, including medication reconciliation and scheduling of procedures
Ensure completion of pre-operative documentation and consent forms
Administer medications in accordance with IV therapy and safety protocols
Monitor patients for adverse reactions, especially with first-dose medications
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
Perform additional duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
Associate s degree in Nursing
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (multi-state or state-specific as applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 7 days of hire)
Completion of Basic Rhythms training during orientation
Previous clinical experience considered based on individual background
