Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, alternating weekends) | 8-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Manage a patient assignment in accordance with unit staffing ratios
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and dress code requirements throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system
- Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments and workflows
