Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Spine/Med-Surg unit with an 18–20 bed capacity and a 6:1 patient ratio supported by an LPN
- Perform wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients
- Operate and manage unit equipment including Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
- Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, LPNs, and patient care technicians across day shift
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Medical/Surgical experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced inpatient environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Burn care experience
- Wound care and/or ostomy care experience
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Prior travel nursing experience
