Schedule / Job Type

Direct Hire | Full-Time and Part-Time options available | Onsite | Rotating shifts (Days 7a–7p or Nights 7p–7a) with holiday and weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process, demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills appropriate to a Medical/Surgical setting in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care
  • Consult appropriate resources within the facility to provide specialized patient and family education
  • Prioritize patient and workplace safety by preventing errors, accidents, and infections, and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately
  • Promptly and accurately complete all patient care documentation to maintain a complete and legal medical record
  • Support continued professional development and engage in professional activities that enhance nursing practice through networking and research
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN must be obtained within 12 years of hire)
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing in the state of Iowa
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, must be maintained throughout employment
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience caring for Medical/Surgical patient populations including post-operative, general surgery, or total joint replacement patients
  • Familiarity with cardiac, stroke, CHF, or dialysis patient care in an inpatient setting
