Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient information and clinical findings using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition throughout the shift
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Alabama
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Permanent address must be located 50 or more miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
