Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Days

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patients for responses and adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the facility's electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama or a compact state
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a high-volume or acute care Medical Surgical environment
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in hospital settings
