Registered Nurse – Float Med/Surg

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week) | Every other weekend | Every other holiday | No call
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care across multiple Medical/Surgical units as part of a float pool
- Monitor and manage patients requiring BiPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience with BiPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Prior experience in a float pool or multi-unit nursing environment
