Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
- Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered consistently
- Support evaluation of clinical staff competency and resource management related to patient care
- Maintain accountability for unit-level care standards and outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or compact eligibility
- Experience in telemetry or medical-surgical nursing
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage patient care needs in an acute care setting
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a telemetry-specific unit
- Experience with staff supervision or charge nurse responsibilities
