Key Responsibilities
- Float between Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Step-Down Units (SDU) as assigned
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with unit-specific protocols and standards
- Monitor and assess patients on telemetry and medical surgical floors during night shift hours
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient care
- Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit environments as a float pool nurse
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
- Experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
- Ability to work night shift hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a float pool or Step-Down Unit (SDU) setting
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Strong adaptability and ability to transition between multiple units
