Transplant Med-Surg / Telemetry / Step-Down Unit Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH) Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Transplant Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Step-Down Unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess transplant and step-down patients, responding appropriately to changes in condition
- Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms as part of ongoing patient assessment
- Fulfill every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday scheduling requirements as part of standard unit expectations
- Assume intermittent charge nurse responsibilities as needed, with charge training and shadowing provided
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or Step-Down nursing
- Ability to work night shifts including every other weekend and every other holiday
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a transplant or specialty Med-Surg environment
- Previous charge nurse experience or willingness to pursue charge responsibilities
