    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Ortho-Spine (Nights)

    Location

    Chattanooga, Tennessee

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: August 3, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on an Ortho/Spine unit managing post-operative knee and hip replacement patients as well as multi-level spine surgery patients
    • Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1 across a 26-bed unit
    • Utilize Meditech for all clinical documentation
    • Operate and monitor unit-specific equipment including CPMs, SCDs, coolers, and walkers
    • Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators to ensure continuity of care
    • Fulfill scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per schedule block and participation in unit float rotation
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
    • Strong orthopedic nursing background
    • Demonstrated compassion and teamwork skills
    • Ability to meet a patient experience benchmark of 72%
    • Compliance with required dress code: navy scrubs
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an Ortho/Spine specialty unit
    • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
    • Experience caring for post-operative spine surgery patients
