Key Responsibilities- Perform patient care functions in accordance with State of Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies and procedures
- Deliver direct patient care on a Surgical/Orthopedic unit under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses
- Adapt to flexible scheduling requirements as needed to meet unit staffing needs
Required Qualifications- Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Telemetry experience
- MOAB or CPI certification
