Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Night Shift) | 13-Week Contract

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends (4 shifts per month) | No On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 28-bed Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1
- Utilize unit equipment including Video EEG, Hoyer Lift, Bladder Scanner, Vital Sign Machine, and Telemetry
- Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Charge Nurses and Patient Care Technicians across day and night shifts
- Adhere to unit guidelines, dress code, and facility policies while maintaining a high standard of patient care
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- 3 or more years of nursing experience
- Experience with epilepsy care or neurological patient populations
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
