Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 hours per week with rotating weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a 1:7 patient ratio
- Perform unit-level procedures including EKGs, glucose monitoring, and venipuncture
- Document patient care and clinical information using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of a clinical nurse coordinator, fellow nurses, patient care technicians, and a unit coordinator per shift
- Float to like units as needed in accordance with contract labor floating policy
Required Qualifications- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with rotating weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills- Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record documentation system
- Experience working in a high-volume or large acute care hospital setting
