Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, occasionally 1:6
- Monitor telemetry patients in coordination with a dedicated telemetry unit
- Float as needed to acute care, cardiology, and emergency care settings to support patient holds
- Collaborate with CNA support staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Document patient information and care activities using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications- Active RN licensure
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical experience
- At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in an acute care environment
