Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM cycle) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, potentially 1:6
- Monitor telemetry patients in coordination with a dedicated monitoring unitolla
- Collaborate with CNA support staff to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Float as needed to acute care, cardiology, and EC units to manage medical or acute care patient holds
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- At least 1 prior travel assignment
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in an acute care setting
