Demonstrates thorough, concise, and timely documentation, shift reports, and verbal communication. Communicates pertinent patient information to all healthcare team members. Maintains clinical skills by staying current in skills, equipment, and certifications including, but not limited to, Infant security system, Baby Friendly Initiative, and Family Centered Care. Communicates effectively with others in an appropriate and timely manner. Adheres to and promotes the established values of the organization, including customer service, safety, and compliance standards. Interacts effectively and builds respectful relationships with healthcare professionals and other health-related agencies. Follows the policies in the Employee Handbook. Must be able to lift, handle, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. The position involves high-risk, fast-paced postpartum care typically in a couplet care model. Responsibility may include floating to assist in labor and delivery tasks if needed.
