Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Cooperstown, New York. This role will involve working within a dynamic inpatient surgery environment, providing high-quality post-operative care across various medical and surgical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
  • Provide comprehensive post-operative care to patients with varying needs
  • Administer pain medications and oversee other IV drips and medications
  • Manage wound vacs, TPN, and CAPD
  • Conduct dressing changes and CBI as needed
  • Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and management tasks
  • Ensure frequent monitoring using MASIMO, bedside systems, EKG machines, and bladder scanners

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Experience with Q4h vital sign documentation and Q8h intake/output recording
  • Proficiency in conducting pain assessments and shift assessments
  • Capability to perform full admission assessments, including a 2 RN skin and belongings check
