Pay: $2,571.84 weekly

This role is based in the Short Stay Unit of an acute care setting, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on general medicine and surgery. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
  • Provide patient care in a 13-bed Short Stay Unit
  • Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5
  • Care for patients with diagnoses such as stroke, traumas, cardiac, and general medicine conditions
  • Perform patient care tasks, including vitals and hourly rounding
  • Collaborate with the charge nurse, house supervisor, and patient care techs as part of a team
  • Utilize Bi-pap and C-pap equipment when necessary

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
  • Active IL RN license or application confirmation
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Demonstrable general med/surg experience
