Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg and Psych for a travel assignment in Trumansburg, NY. This role involves working in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will play a crucial part in maintaining the quality of care for clients at a men's recovery residence.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse
  • Maintain 24-hour accountability for quality of care of clients
  • Complete physical & mental health assessments according to regulations
  • Administer and monitor treatment regimens and prescribed medications
  • Observe and report behavioral changes
  • Maintain control of drugs and medications
  • Triage emergent client medical issues and coordinate care
  • Record care information concisely and accurately
  • Provide direct care as a licensed practical nurse
  • Respect cultural and religious practices of patients
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and collaborate with staff for performance improvement

Requirements of the Registered Nurse
  • Associates Degree in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • BLS Certification
  • Successful completion of CPI training within 3 months of hire
  • Successful completion of medication competency exam
