This role involves assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. It is necessary to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment. The nurse is responsible for initiating the computerized Plan of Care upon admission. Other general nursing duties may be performed under appropriate supervision. Essential Job Functions: The nurse will perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure. Acceptance of responsibility for the direction, control, and planning of activities is required. The nurse will make evaluations and decisions based on measurable or verifiable criteria. Independence in work is expected. Recognition of the rights and responsibilities of patient confidentiality is crucial.
