This role involves working within a dynamic medical-surgical environment, catering to adults with a variety of post-surgical care needs. Experience with specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes is expected.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
  • Provide direct care to adult patients with post-surgical needs such as abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, and osteoarthritis
  • Manage and operate specialty equipment like IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
  • Adapt to floating requirements as needed
  • Adhere to navy blue scrub attire standards

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
  • Active NY RN license and all active RN licenses verified through NURSYS
  • 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
  • Travel experience is required
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
