Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
As a Travel RN, you will:
- Provide patient-centered care and assessment during night shifts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor patient progress and document accurately in EMR systems
- Respond to emergencies and provide safe, timely interventions
- Support patients and families with compassionate communication and care
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact license)
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospital RN experience
- BLS certification required (ACLS may be required based on unit)
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
