Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in surgical nursing Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient and family support and nursing care within their full scope of practice. This includes participation in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services for patients, families, and the community. Responsibilities will include the observation, data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patients' physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs. Care will be guided by an individualized and ongoing plan of care. The RN will work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team. The unit primarily takes surgical patients, including joint replacements, open abdominal surgeries, and urologic surgeries. The RN will help ensure the highest quality health care is delivered in partnership with the community, one person at a time.
