License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required through AHA or RQI system
Must-Have:
- BSN
- Critical care experience
- Ability to float to multiple units (Med/Surg, ICU, ER)
Description:
RN Nights position with EOW/Holiday rotations and 2 On-Call shifts per 4 weeks.
Candidates must be cross-trained for multiple units.
This includes Med/Surg, ICU, ER, and other critical care areas.
ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
Basic Coronary Care certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
CPI certification is required within 90 days of hire.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion is essential.
Candidates should display professionalism and courtesy when interacting with others.
The ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities is necessary.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills are important.
Computer literacy is preferred, specifically experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
Demonstration of customer focus aligns with principles of a healing environment.
Candidates must be knowledgeable about the needs of various patient age groups including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
Ability to assess and interpret patient information is crucial for delivering appropriate care.
