Candidates will provide care for a diverse patient population with various medical conditions. The patient demographic includes those with chronic illnesses, infections, and mental health disorders. Nursing duties include assessments, care planning, and inter-professional communication. Candidates must be proficient in utilizing electronic health records. Equipment used includes IV pumps, telemetry monitoring, and various medical devices. Floating to other medical units may be necessary based on patient care needs. Working 12-hour shifts includes three weekend shifts in four weeks. The patient-to-nurse ratio is approximately 1:5-6. Candidates must be comfortable managing IV therapy and patient care procedures.
