Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 3x12
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay: $2020 to $2220
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
Perform detailed patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition throughout hospitalization.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments accurately and safely.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, pain levels, and overall patient progress.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality care standards.
Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting comfort, recovery, and positive patient outcomes.
Active Maine Registered Nurse (RN) License or compact/multistate license (if applicable).
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
Current BLS Certification required.
ACLS Certification preferred.
Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and prioritization skills.
Experience caring for post-operative, medical, and complex adult patients.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education abilities.
Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
