Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
- Monitor and assess patient status, vital signs, and response to treatments
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform routine procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards
- Travel locally as required to fulfill assignment expectations
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license in Colorado (or compact license)
- Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg experience
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and time management skills
