Travel opportunity for RN in Med/Surg department.
Unit has 18-20 beds.
Staff includes charge nurses, registered nurses, LPNs, and patient care technicians.
Patient ratios on night shift are 6:1 with LPN support.
Common equipment used includes Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA machines.
The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year acute care hospital Med/Surg experience.
BLS certification is required, with burn care and wound care experience preferred.
The unit performs wound and dressing care on post-operative patients.
Ideal candidates will be team players with a positive attitude.
Strong emphasis is placed on teamwork and collaboration within the unit.
