Job Title: Travel Nurse - Medical Surgical Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar setting License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience: 1 year - Experience with Patient Ratios: 1:5 - Charting System Experience: Required (Epic) - Travel Experience: Required Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in the Medical Surgical specialty. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. The role involves working during the day shift, three times a week. The nurse will be expected to float between units if necessary. On-call duties will be required once per pay period. Weekends will be required every other weekend. The facility has a daily census of 12 patients, with a total of 25 beds. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including physical therapy and pharmacy services. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 5:1 during the day shifts. Certifications in life support will be essential for this role. Travel experience is crucial, and candidates must have a valid RN license. References from previous supervisors will be required before the start of the contract. This role will involve compliance with facility policies and procedures. Documentation must be completed using the designated electronic charting system.
