The Bronson Battle Creek Observation Unit is good for the experienced travel RN with experience on units with high patient turnover, who has great prioritization skills, great customer service, and likes to stay busy. Must be able to handle patient surges/increased patient ratios of 1:6, be willing to float to other med/surg areas and prioritize balancing throughput with patient experience.

Job Overview:

Description: Holiday coverage is required; however, any RTO during holidays must remain flexible to accommodate staffing demands.
Travel Experience HIGHLY PREFERRED, may consider no travel if more perm experience.
Information Regarding Observation Unit: 10 Bed ER Overflow, Ratios 1:6 at Night; 1:5 at Days, Focus of constant reassessment of readiness of patient for discharge. This unit will be rapidly admitting and discharging patients.

Floating Requirement: Will float to other Med Surg units
Weekend Requirement: Will work every other weekend.
Information Regarding the Other Med Surg Units: Mix of medical patients, Staffing Ratio 1:5-6 for nights, Ratios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support.
