Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty. This role involves caring for post-surgical patients in a medical surgical unit. The nurse will work on a night shift schedule. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:6. The nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patients. Daily census in the unit averages 22 patients. The unit has a total of 28 beds. Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
