Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in the MedSurg/Tele units
  • Manage patients with common diagnoses including DM, GI, respiratory, and renal conditions
  • Handle chest tubes, traches, PIV starts, drain & tubes, and PCA pumps
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver care in high-stress situations with strong communication skills
  • Administer medication via Gtt management with drugs such as Amiodarone and Fentanyl PCA

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele
  • Active RN license
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Experience in telemetry and capability to float to other med/surg units
