Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical department. The facility is a Joint Commission-accredited facility. It serves as the sole provider of acute care in the area. A wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services are offered. The facility operates with 57 beds and has patient ratios of up to 1:6 with PCA assistance. Common diagnoses/treatments include COPD, post-operative joints, and care for a diabetic population. The candidate should demonstrate kindness, compassion, and caring attitudes. Floating to like units may be required as needed. The dress code allows for any scrub color, but branded attire from other facilities is not acceptable. The hiring manager is looking for candidates who fit the culture of the unit and have the required education and certifications to work in the state.
