Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Medical/Surgical patients during assigned shifts
- Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor vital signs, lab results, and patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
