Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care. Meet established Standards of Nursing Practice. Promote cooperation among the health care team. Assure patients' personal needs are met. Assist in reducing noise levels on the nursing unit. Demonstrate commitment to co-workers and team collaboration. Maintain patient, co-worker, and hospital privacy. Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and legible. Deliver clear and concise reports. Accurately administer and chart medications according to hospital policies and procedures while adhering to patients' rights. Implement and support planned education and documentation efforts. Assess patients' educational needs. Assist in the development and education of new staff members. Attend and participate in staff meetings. Complete education, training, and competencies for department-specific skills. Adapt to changes in the unit, environment, and workflow. Ensure all patient charge items are charged and documented correctly. Utilize department resources appropriately. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
